MONでは、ファブリックレーベルPHAPHIC（ファフィック）初の展示『 Where are you from?』を 開催いたします。本展では、播州（兵庫）、備後（広島）産のファブリックを用いたPHAPHICオリジナルプロダクトを、京都在住のフォトグラファー・吉川幸宏氏が独自の視点で産地を切り取った写真とともに初めてお披露目いたします。MONのソリッドな空間と、産地発のファブリックが織りなす時間をお楽しみください 。
PHAPHIC（ファフィック）とは、「ファブリック」と「グラフィック」を掛け合わせた造語。日本の産地に息づく魅力を伝えるファブリックレーベルです。今回の展示販売では、クッションカバー・トートバッグ等を通して、広島県・兵庫県に長く息づいたテキスタイル文化と技術をお届けします。

We are delighted to be holding the first exhibition of fabric label PHAPHIC, “Where are you from? This exhibition will showcase PHAPHIC's original products made of fabrics from Banshu (Hyogo) and Bingo (Hiroshima), along with photographs taken by Kyoto-based photographer Yukihiro Yoshikawa, who captures the production areas from his own unique perspective. The brand name PHAPHIC is a word that combines the words “fabric” and “graphic. PHAPHIC is a fabric label that conveys the charm of Japanese production areas. In this exhibition, we will present the textile culture and techniques that have long lived in Hiroshima and Hyogo prefectures through cushion covers, tote bags, and other items.
